Growing your Game from the Ground-Up: Understanding Soils from the Container to the Landscape | KC
1

It’s time to grow your landscape game from the ground up. This session will provide key information for creating a solid foundation while promoting a deeper understanding of the soil we use to produce plants (soilless media), and the soil we use for landscapes. From soil health to preparation strategies, investments in the right techniques can lead to more vibrant and resilient plants.

This session will illustrate the similarities and differences between soils in the landscape and the soilless media we use to produce plants in the nursery. Healthy soil concepts are key to thriving plants. Understanding how to properly care for plants as they transition from containers to the landscape will arm landscape professionals with the proper tools to ensure a healthy environment before they start installation. With proper planning, your team can provide long-term beauty and landscape sustainability.
