Paul is an assistant professor in the Department of Horticulture at Auburn University, specializing in Landscape Environmental Stewardship. With a focus on sustainability, he has developed research programs designed to help the horticultural and landscape industries adapt to disruptive policy changes. These initiatives address critical regulatory challenges, including bans and restrictions on landscape equipment, as well as plastic regulations and extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws. By collaborating with industry stakeholders, we work to create evidence-based strategies that align business practices with evolving environmental regulations. The research focuses on providing practical solutions to ensure industry resilience and sustainability while minimizing environmental impact.
