The Harvest Group

Bill Arman brings over 50 years of experience in the Green Industry. He began his career at ValleyCrest, where he rose from apprentice gardener to Regional Vice President of Southern California, overseeing a $25 million maintenance portfolio and managing more than 600 employees. He later served as VP of Human Resources, where he and his team built recruiting, training, and performance review systems for over 6,500 employees. He’s also the author of The Harvest Way for Recruiting and Hiring the Right People and received the National Leadership Award in 2006. In 2007, Bill and Ed co-founded The Harvest Group, a consulting firm that helps landscape business owners grow, increase profitability, and prepare for sale. Since its founding, The Harvest Group has served clients in 48 states and 9 countries. In 2014, they partnered with Alison Hoffman to launch a business brokerage arm, Harvest the GREEN Partners, Inc., helping owners sell their companies or get them ready for market. They also created The Harvest Way Academy, an online platform featuring 100+ video lessons, guidebooks, and tools—a virtual encyclopedia designed to help landscape businesses scale and make more money. Through consulting, coaching, speaking engagements, workshops, webinars, podcasts, and writing, Ed and Bill continue to help landscape leaders across the industry “Harvest Their Potential!”
